Sunlight Arrives at Highbridge

For those of us who’ve spent years watching the European leisure vehicle market with a mixture of admiration and envy, this announcement has been a long time coming. We’re delighted to confirm that we are now an official Sunlight dealer, with Sunlight models soon to be available from both our Somerset and Devon branches. Sunlight brings something genuinely different to the UK market: distinctive design, smart thinking and a fantastic range of leisure vehicles built for adventure.

The Sunlight Story: German Engineering, Adventure Focus

Sunlight was founded in 2004 in Southern Germany by a group of outdoor enthusiasts who felt the leisure vehicle industry had lost its way. As part of the Erwin Hymer Group, the parent company behind some of Europe’s most respected leisure vehicle brands, Sunlight was built around a simple but powerful idea: “Adventure Now.”

Their design philosophy is refreshingly straightforward. Everything has a purpose. Sunlight follows a strong “form follows function” approach, focusing on the features that genuinely make a difference when you are travelling. As they put it themselves, “we don’t have a champagne holder.” It is a light-hearted way of expressing their emphasis on practical, thoughtful design. Instead, the focus is on comfortable beds, functional washrooms, dependable heating and intelligent storage, all designed around the realities of life on the road.

One of Sunlight’s strengths is the variety within its line-up. From compact campervans and slimline motorhomes to larger A-Class models, there are options to suit different styles of travel, different levels of comfort and different priorities on the road. Across the range, the design language is consistently modern and understated. Clean exterior lines, contemporary interiors and practical layouts give the vehicles a distinctive look without feeling over-styled.
